- Safari Club International (SCI) is the leader in protecting the freedom to hunt,
promoting wildlife conservation, and providing wildlife education worldwide. SCI
fights tirelessly to protect the hunting heritage enjoyed by 15 million Americans and
45 million families around the globe. Together we help every sportsman and
sportswoman understand how and why SCI is truly First for Hunters. The SCI
National Capital Chapter is the preeminent chapter of Safari Club International in
Virginia.
Mission
- Promote the freedom to hunt, conserve wildlife and provide wildlife education.
- To promote fellowship among all who love the outdoors and hunting
- To promote conservation of the world's renewable wildlife resources, recognizing
that hunting is one of the many conservation management tools. - To educate youth, sportsmen and the public in conservation of our wildlife and our
forests. - To share our hunting experiences and information with our membership.
- To operate the Chapter as a non-profit organization, consistent with its charitable
purposes, while providing enjoyment to our members.
- By joining SCI, you join the ranks of hunters spanning more than 100 countries
who share the same passion for our hunting heritage and wildlife conservation that
