Bringing the Wilderness
to the Classroom
Safari-In-A-Box is a K-12 educational kit designed to
provide exciting hands-on-learning about wildlife. It
gives teachers the resources and ideas to introduce
youth to important concepts of habitat, wildlife
management and impacts resulting from human and
wildlife interactions. The kit contains workbooks and
lesson plans for using the pelts, skulls and replicas
of feet and scat to teach students about animals and
their habitat.  The chapter donates the
Safari-In-A-Box to  schools in Maryland and Virginia.
